Mount Vernon High School is home of #1 Marching Band of the Northwest. Led by our two drum majors Colin and Bailey, as well as the band conductor Jacob Scherr. The MVHS marching band won many awards in Leavenworth, which enabled us to place 1st. This band is full of dedicated musicans, who give up their free time to play at football games, basketball games, as well as parades.

If you were to look for school spirited individuals, with a lot of a talent, then band would be the place to look.
